A shadow by day, a beacon by night. An unprogrammed space, a place to pause, becomes a salient feature in the ebullient atmosphere of a music festival.
The Research
The Solution
The project was conceptualized and developed taking these major constraints as design opportunities. MEATS team proposed a construction system using a metal mesh and 11.000 reused plastic glasses to create a light responsive jail, that would wrap a 6 meters tall steel structure with a hexagonal plan.
